The DSL Connection Manager monitors your DSL connection to ensure high-quality service and provides a connection interface for DSL. If the DSL connection stops working, the DSL Connection Manager diagnoses and resolves the connection problem automatically or presents instructions for manual resolution.
DSL Connection Manager does not monitor, track or collect any personal information about you or the Web sites you visit. It simply monitors, diagnoses and resolves connection problems to make your Internet experience more consistent and more enjoyable. It runs in the background while you are connected with DSL and examines components of the connection to help maintain optimal performance.

DSL Connection Manager Features

Each of these screens include information in the main, center areas of the screen, and navigation and additional information, glossary entries, related articles to the right of the main area.
Alerts
System outage and other alerts let you know when there are unscheduled outages in your DSL service. When an alert is posted, the rocket icon in the system tray will blink to let you know there is important information for you to read.
Upload Information Should you experience a problem with your connection that DSL Connection Manager cannot resolve and is not covered in the non-automated solutions section, you will need to contact Customer Care. However, you can help the Customer Care representative and speed resolution of your problem by uploading information on the problem to the customer care center before you call.
Bulletins Bulletins contain pertinent information about changes to the network, scheduled and unscheduled network outages and repairs, as well as new downloads available.
Repair Center The Repair Center is your one-stop shop for DSL connection diagnosis and repair. In the repair center, you can run automated diagnosis and repair functions, as well as fine detailed walk-though information in manual repair functions.
Diagnosis The Diagnosis screen presents the findings and recommended solutions to a specific problem. From the Diagnosis screen, you can either launch an automated repair solution or find instructions for a manual repair solution.
Using DSL Connection Manager
The DSL Connection Manager runs in the background after you connect with DSL. The rocket icon in the system tray lets you know the DSL Connection Manager is working. If a problem arises, the DSL Connection Manager automatically diagnoses and resolves the problem, or guides you through steps to manually diagnose and resolve your connection problem.
