The SBC Yahoo! DSL icon will be displayed on your desktop. From now on when you want to connect to the Internet, click on the SBC Yahoo! DSL icon.
SBC DSL Connection Manager
The SBC DSL Connection Manager software, which is an optional installation feature with your membership, helps you maintain optimal service at all times by constantly monitoring, testing and repairing your DSL connection. Anytime you're online, the SBC DSL Connection Manager will either automatically help resolve any connection problems or present instructions for manual resolution.
The SBC DSL Connection Manager is solely designed to ensure you have the best possible connection to the Internet. It does not monitor, track or collect any personal information about you or the web sites you visit.
SBC Yahoo! Dial Connection Manager
It's easy to take your personalized Internet experience with you when you travel or are away from your DSL connection. All you have to do is install the SBC Yahoo! Dial Connection Manager during installation or anytime afterwards by going to http://help.sbcglobal.net/article.php?item=2006, clicking the "Download SBC Yahoo! DSL Software" option and following the on-screen instructions.
Once the SBC Dial Connection Manager is installed, get started by clicking the SBC Yahoo! Dial icon in your start menu. To set up a connection with dial-up numbers for the city where you'll be connecting, select "Add New Connection" from the "Connection" menu and follow the on-screen instructions. It's easy to do and lets you access the Internet (including your personalized home page and email) from virtually anywhere in the country. For more detailed instructions, please visit the SBC Yahoo!
